Writing in the healthcare space is challenging but also extremely fulfilling. I contribute to the Donor Egg Bank™ and California Cryobank™ business (arguably the most trusted egg and sperm banks in the US).
I’m speaking to multiple audiences in very different headspaces from healthcare providers, egg and sperm donors, and clients themselves.
National Infertility Awareness Week
California Cryobank™ and Donor Egg Bank USA™ participate in this awareness week led by RESOLVE, the National Infertility Association. The theme this year was “Leave Your Mark”. Our job was to apply this thinking to our emails and social—expanding on what “leaving a mark” means to our clients.
We landed on the sentiment that infertility is often a quiet battle many people face but now is the time to make yourself seen. There’s strength in mindfully showing up for yourself and others.
Paid social ads
These ads were targeted towards California Cryobank™ clients.
“Messes make the best memories” was about embracing the beauty in the mess kids bring because a messy home is a happy one!
“Dream job” was based on the idea that our clients don’t take parenthood for granted. Our method isn’t a traditional path to parenthood but it doesn’t make it any less fulfilling.
*I came up with both ideas for these two concepts but wrote directly to “messes make the best memories”.
